To many, Christmas conjures up images of families gathered around a brightly lit tree or excited kids eagerly removing stuffed stockings from a fireplace mantle. We agree – Christmas certainly isn’t the same without the trees, tinsel, and baubles, but more importantly, Christmas isn’t Christmas without family and friends to share the joy of the season with.

To help spread the holiday cheer in their own homes, as well as commemorate some of their past holiday memories with family and friends, we provided a few of our favorite home decor extraordinaires with photo gifts and asked them to share their holiday home decorations. Read on to see a few of our favorites.

Anne in Residence
Anne in Residence

Anne of Anne in Residence chose to keep her holiday décor on the simple side this year, but she shows us that there is still plenty of spirit to be found in simplicity. In addition to traditional Christmas reds and greens, she also used beautiful corals and turquoises to complement her home’s existing décor for a seamless blend between everyday and holiday. Some other highlights include her son’s book-a-day advent calendar, adorable bird ornaments, and heirloom crocheted snowflakes.

Our Pretty Little Girls

Our Pretty Little Girls

Beth of Our Pretty Little Girls recently celebrated her 11th Christmas with her husband and made sure to commemorate Christmases past with plenty of photos. Her holiday home also includes an impressive six Christmas trees (some complete with toy trains), beautiful wreath-and-candle centerpieces, and even a DIY ornament chandelier over her dining room table!

Fern Creek Cottage

Fern Creek Cottage

Lisa of Fern Creek Cottage goes above and beyond decorating at Christmas time, and showed us her decorations for her son’s room. Because the room already has a woodland theme throughout the year, she added plenty of reindeer to help add a cheerful touch. We also loved his two Christmas trees, nutcracker, and plaid accents. What a lucky kid!

Decorating Delirium

Decorating Delirium

Jennifer of Decorating Delirium demonstrated that you don’t need to stick with reds and greens to create a Christmas feel at home. Her home showcases plenty of jewel tones, pastels, and winter whites to create a joyful-yet-modern feeling. Be sure to check out her Eiffel Tower Christmas ornament collection too!

Crafty Texas Girls

Samantha of Crafty Texas Girls knows how important family and memories are at Christmas time, and highlighted this by incorporating plenty of photos of her family into her Christmas décor. In addition to these photos, she also has a “Merry and Bright” theme for her holiday decorations, complete with a Christmas tree banner and sparkly stockings for her daughters.

As shown above, family is certainly the most important part of the holidays.  Are you planning on spending time with your loved ones this year? Let us know down below in the comments!
