People are passionate about coffee. Whether you enjoy a small cup with breakfast or need your own pot brewing on your desk at all times, your personal coffee habits are sacred. But let’s not forget an often-overlooked aspect of your coffee routine– the mug you drink it out of, of course! Just as habitual as people can be about their preferred cup of joe, people are equally obsessed with drinking it out of their favorite mug. From a travel mug boasting your hometown sports team logo to a personalized mug proudly displaying a picture of Fido, your mug can offer a quick glimpse into your personal story.
At Personal Creations, we really love coffee and highlighted the various ways we enjoy it in our “7 Different Coffee Drinks Defined” blog post. I love everything about this mug, and as a self-admitted coffee addict the perfect mug makes all the difference. The size and materials are just right – it fits a lot of java while the high quality ceramic stoneware keeps my coffee piping hot. I also love the exposed ceramic on the bottom, which subtly allows my mug to stand out among others. Plus it’s blue, my favorite color!

I love this cup because it reminds me of home, or more importantly of my mom. Between the ages of 14-16 my mom would take me on day trips to NYC. We’d go to The Museum of Modern Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art or Natural History. At some point we would always grab a coffee and it would come in a paper cup that looked just like this ceramic one. My mom still lives in NJ, 3,000 miles away, so I love having little things like this around to remind me of home.

For me, a good cup of coffee is the best way to start the day! My sister knows me better than most; being a lover of coffee and animal print, this gift from my sister was a winning combination. When I’m about halfway through my first cup (one cup is never enough) it’s always a guaranteed smile when the little zebra starts to show through.
