Build Your Leprechaun Trap

leprechaun trap craft

After preparing your leprechaun bait, build a trap with your little ones in hopes of catching one of those tricky creatures! To make your leprechaun trap even more irresistible, have your little one add some St. Patrick’s Day themed decor. Add rainbows to grab the leprechaun’s attention, a pot of gold to lure him in and clovers for good luck!

On the night before St. Patrick’s Day, place the bait in the trap and await a special visitor. Remember, if caught, a leprechaun can grant three wishes — what would your little one wish for?

When your kids wake up on St. Patrick’s Day, check to see if you were handy enough to catch a leprechaun or if he snuck off with some of your bait. A leprechaun may have even left some gold coins on his way through. No matter the outcome, creating this fun craft with your kids will make the holiday even more special.
