THE CALIFORNIA TRANSPARENCY IN SUPPLY CHAINS ACT
Under the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (SB 657), large manufacturers and retailers that do business in California are required to disclose their efforts to eradicate slavery and human trafficking within their supply chains. The underlying purpose of the law is to educate consumers, so they can make informed purchasing decisions. In order to comply with the law, Personal Creations makes the following disclosures:
Verification We do not currently conduct assessments of our product suppliers or subcontractors to see if they may be at risk for violating anti-slavery and human trafficking laws, and we do not use third-party verifiers. If, however, we learn that a supplier is violating such laws, we will terminate that supplier.
Audit
We do not currently audit our suppliers to determine if they comply with anti-slavery and human trafficking laws in the US or the countries in which they operate.
