I bought this mug for a Christmas present for my friend. It turned out great but my only complaint was that the sublimation process that they use makes the picture and lettering slightly blurry, even though the picture was extremely good quality. Overall this was a great product, it just isn't as professional as I thought it would be.

This is the 1st time I tried personal creations and was kind of skeptical about the services, but the quality seemed great. The picture was not as clear as i hoped but i love it just the same. I got this as a mother's day gift for my French Mother-in-law. I added her grandchildren's picture and a mother's day message in French. The mug itslef was OK - so was the picture. But they messed up the personalized message as it contained accents (the message was in French). Customer service did send a new one once I called them, but I had to send in the message without accents - not a big deal, but I was disappointed as Personal Creations was able to do the accents for me on an almost identical order 4 years back... but not anymore.

If that was the case, they should have stopped me before finalizing my order (it is not too difficult to program a way to look for "non-standard" characters in the personalization message and ask the user to change it before finalizing the order. I could write a simple Javascript to this effect for Personal Creations if they would be willing to pay me.

Oh well, I guess I'll look for someone else for purchasing my "non english" personalized gifts next time.

Overall, I'm happy with the mugs with a few exceptions. First, the quality of the mugs are great, and the picture personalization is perfect. What I am upset about is that my personalization saying was not written on either of the two mugs I purchased. Also, I was supposed to receive them before Christmas and wound up getting them the day after. But as for the product itself, I think they made great gifts even if given a little late and not personalized with words.

I purchased one of these mugs for all of the grandparents and our babysitter for Christmas with my twin babies' photos on them. They were such a hit and the grandparents especially loved them since they don't get to see the babies too often. They are of great quality and the lettering is very colorful and cheerful. I do wish the color of the photos was a little more accurate as it is a little dark but if you select a bright photo, it works better.
