When I saw this item I thought this would be a perfect gift for an engagement! It serves a dual purpose. First, it was an engagement gift. Second, it can be engraved with names & a date. I chose their wedding date so if they want they could use this for their first toast as husband & wife & for the many anniversaries to come! I have not seen this item in person. I only have the word of my cousins and they said they loved them.

I had seen Galway crystal in Ireland. I was excited to have the opportunity to purchase a set of flutes for my sons wedding which were from there. Once receiving the flutes I realized that they are not "Cut Crystal " I realize that that probably was a high expectation but was somewhat disappointed. When we opened our package, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of these flutes. They "ring" when the rim is tapped. The only drawback we could see was the etching is so light it really doesn't show up very well.
