I love to purchase placques like these.I try to fine one for every holiday & hang it on the outside of my front door. I also try to purchase other items to emphasize my front door decor (in this case a big red heart underneath it). If their is a door mat I blend that in to so my porch makes a "welcome" statment for every holiday. The best part they can be used year after year. Don't forget to leave the porch light on at night so people can notice it.

The cardinal slate is adorable and looks great in my cardinal themed kitchen! I got one for my sister also and she loves her too! Only con is that the picture on website (preview image) showed horizontal slate with names off to left of birds; however, when it came, it was a vertical slate with the names above the birds... still looks great! Would recommend!

This is a very pretty design and makes a great gift for a couple. It is a beautiful design that can be used all winter, not just for Christmas. My only complaint is that the thin, short leather strap is not sturdy nor long enough for the heavy slate. I ended up using heavy twine.

The only complaint I have is the polyurethan on top of the slate was thick and there was a bubble of the glue laying on top of the slate. I should have sent it back but had no time to replace it.

I like this slate but it is vertical and the one pictured was horizontal, which is what I would have preferred. I also did not like that the leather strap holder was not connected already to the product. However, it is a nice slate for the price and would be a nice Valentine or Wedding gift. I would purchase from this company in the future.
